Explore Dreem Mobile

Dreem Team · July 29, 2026

The Dreem mobile app: watching stories, interacting with them, chatting with characters, browsing Worlds, and creating from your phone.

The five tabs

  • Home — the vertical feed of trending Dreem content.
  • Explore — browse and search all published Worlds.
  • Create (+) — start a new World from a single prompt.
  • Chats — every conversation you have with characters.
  • Profile — your account, saved stories, and settings.

Watching on Home

  • Home opens on a story node. Scroll up and down inside the video area to move to the next or previous content.
  • The player controls sit at the bottom right of the video: previous node, pause, next node, expand.
  • Expanded view removes the surrounding UI and gives the story the full screen. Use it when a node has fine visual detail or a long interaction.
  • Nodes are the unit of playback, not episodes. Skipping forward moves one node at a time, so a branch is never skipped by accident.

Interacting with a story

  • Interaction instructions appear on screen inside the highlighted area. Follow them to advance — tap, swipe, or hold depending on the node.
  • The engagement row shows likes, comments, saves, and reposts. Reposting sends the story to another platform with a link back.
  • Comments open as a panel over the video. Each comment is tagged with the episode it was left on, so replies stay in context.

World and Storyline

  • The storyline title opens the storyline page: description, episode list, characters, and the creator's other work.
  • Select Episode opens the episode picker for the current storyline.
  • The World page is the layer above storylines. It holds the world spec, characters, locations, and every storyline set in that universe.
  • World tabs: Storylines, Characters, Lore.
  • Storyline cards are tagged Updated, New, Ongoing, or Finished, so you can tell at a glance whether a story is still being written.
  • Follow a World to get its updates. Follower and visit counts sit under the cover.
  • Remix is coming to the World page. It will collect fan-created stories set in the same universe.

When an episode ends

  • The end screen shows when the creator last posted and a More Plz button that registers a request for the next episode.
  • More to Watch lists related storylines. Chat with Characters lists the cast of the current story.
  • Tapping a character portrait opens a chat with them.

Chatting with characters

  • Characters remember past conversations and what you have watched, and they open conversations on their own rather than only replying.
  • Send stickers, request one, and save the ones you receive. Sticker sets unlock per character.
  • React to a character's message with an emoji, or use Copy and Regenerate on any reply.
  • The Chats tab lists every character you have talked to, with the World each one belongs to.

Explore and search

  • Filter the Explore grid by genre.
  • Each card shows the World cover, name, genre tags, and a heat count.
  • Search is scoped by type: Worlds, Stories, Characters, Users. Character results include their tagline, so duplicates are easy to tell apart.

Creating on mobile

  • The + tab is a single input box. One sentence is enough to start.
  • The Dreem Agent runs the full pipeline in the background: world spec, cast, locations, storyline, script, storyboard, and node videos. Cards flip as each piece finishes.
  • You can keep browsing while it works, and you can stop it at any point.
  • Drafts stay on the + tab until you publish or delete them.

Reviewing what the Agent built

  • World spec — logline, era, tags, and lore.
  • Character spec — reference sheets from multiple angles, plus tagline, age, gender, ethnicity, profession, personality, and voice.
  • Locations — one card per location with a generated reference image.
  • Storylines — episodes composed from the script, with interactions built in.
  • Review these before publishing. Everything downstream is generated from the specs, so a correction made here is cheaper than one made later.

Refining by chat

  • Describe the change in plain language, for example: He should play guitar in episode 3.
  • The Agent locates the episode, pulls its nodes, updates each one, and re-renders the affected videos. It reports what it found and what it changed as it goes.
  • Conversations are saved per World and can be renamed, so separate threads can track separate revision passes.

Preview and publish

  • Preview the World shows it exactly as a viewer will see it, including the Storylines, Characters, Locations, and Lore tabs.
  • Settings controls visibility. A World starts private and is published as a whole; episodes are published one at a time.
  • Episodes that still need work are marked Set up and link out to Creator Studio.
  • Open in Creator Studio is the path to full editing. Join our Discord is where product updates and creator support live.
